The Dronne river is a really pretty river which flows through the limestone valleys of the Dordogne department. Much less spectacular - but also much less crowded than the Dordogne river itself - it makes a pleasant place to stop for a picnic.
And there is, by all accounts, some good Barbel fishing to be had.
