La Mirabelle
Nestled between two vineyards, two acres of gardens, views, pool, Wi Fi, all bedrooms are en-suite, with 150 year old exposed wooden beams, wooden floors and art on the walls… cook, eat & relax!
La Mirabelle is set in two acres of garden, with vineyards on either side. Tranquil views, the raised decked terrace around the pool is a day-long suntrap. Further deck areas one with purpose built barbecue, tables, chairs and parasols, provide excellent areas for relaxing and eating al fresco. Beach volleyball court, located in the centre of the garden, situated in our grove of fruit trees childrens swing, see saw and climbing ropes. Also petanque, football, and table tennis. Parking
Local activities
- Lac de Gurson, two beautiful lakes, one for fishing and another for swimming (with a lifeguard during the season).
- Several bars and restaurants, the bar 'La Pagoda', run by our good friends Marie Claude & Philippe is a particular favorite.
With the man made beach, build sandcastles, sun bathe and relax. Or horse ride through the woodlands and beyond.
St Emilion, of course, is one of the premier houses of the Bordeaux wine region and the town, with its wonderful winding, cobbled streets shouldn't be missed. St Emilion has many fabulous restaurants, sensational architecture and plenty of opportunities for wine tasting in the surrounding chateaux.
Canoe and kayak along the Dordogne River, nothing better than to meander the Dordogne take in the sites,bird watch,fish or relax. Stop have a picnic on the river bank. Coast of Arcachon and the Dune du Pilat -one of the largest sand dunes in the world.
