North Dordogne - Perigord Vert : Situate, On RN21, Maison Rouge - 8kms north of Thiviers, direction Limoges.

Irish pub now open for one year and well worth a visit if you haven't yet !

Serving Guinness and Kilkenny on draught, home-made pub grub, fish and chips, steak and guinness pie, irish stew, shepherds pie along with puds, rhubarb crumble, cheesecake, bread and butter pudding etc.

  • Families are welcome and children love the place, with some puzzles on hand to keep them occupied, swings and toys out in the garden for the warmer months also baby-changing facilities in the ladies toilets ! (separate mens toilets too!)
  • Completely renovated by the new irish/english owners the pub oozes charm, warmth and friendliness and is used by both french and english speaking locals on a regular basis along with visiting tourists.

The food is very popular, quite often they are booked out on a friday and saturday evening so calling ahead is advisable if you definitely want to eat there.
