Riberac

Riberac is a small town in the Dordogne which is situated on the Dronne river. The town has an almost mediterranean feel to it - especially on a hot day in the summer if you sit on one of the terraced restaurants.

On the low hills overlooking the Dronne, there are often Cicadas. (A type of cricket-beetle which clicks and buzzes all evening in the summer and makes a place feel even hotter than it really is!)
